Dennis was born and raised in Sanders, Kentucky. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1971. After graduation, Dennis was employed as a staff accountant for Scott and Sherman, CPAs, Madison, Indiana for four years. In 1976 Dennis began his accounting practice that would become Raisor, Zapp & Woods, PSC in 1990.
Dennis has forty four years of accounting experience in corporate, partnership and individual taxation, governmental auditing, and financial institution auditing.
